IMMF – On the Road

IMMF has been active on the road, meeting with existing organizations of artist managers and self-managed artists and working with partners to identify and support individuals and groups interested in starting-up new “MMF” organizations in additional countries and regions. With an emphasis on community building and educational offerings, the IMMF has been active in co-hosting/partnering with MMF’s to provide meaningful educational sessions and networking opportunities while also presenting at numerous international music conferences.
As this year’s SXSW in Austin, TX, USA (SXSW) IMMF partnered with MMF-US and AAM to provide a networking brunch of US, Australian, and other managers and self-managed artists from around the world attending the conference and festival in Austin, March 2024. IMMF hosted a series of workshops and meet-up at ESNS 2024 (Photos and description, coming soon)
IMMF proudly participated in a panel at Yerevan Music Week in early September (9th – 15th), 2024, supporting IMMF member MMF-Armenia. Yerevan Music Week is dedicated to providing opportunities for musicians from Armenia to expand their knowledge and build their careers.
The former president, Volker May, participated in the panel and discussed opportunities for Armenian musicians to connect with various European countries. He also emphasized the importance of being a member of the international IMMF family.
